Frank & de Wintermannen

On the 23rd of June, Frank Wintermans did his final exam Jazz drums of the conservatory of Tilburg. During the first set, ‘Frank & de Wintermannen’ played a song by ‘Gogo Penguin’ that’s much more experimental than the stuff we normally play with this ensemble. After a lot of hours studying the song, we were finally able to play it and are quite pleased with the result!

David Romanello also joined ‘Frank & de Wintermannen’ during the exam to play some Joshua Redman pieces. Here are some pictures taken by Piet Kuijten.
